October 29, 2009:

The U.S. House of Representatives approved a second continuing appropriations resolution (Division B of H.R. 2996) to extend temporarily 2008 funding levels for several departments and agencies of the federal government.  This continuing resolutin will keep the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) running until December 18, 2009, or until a 2010 appropriations bill for the department has been enacted into law.
