Need to request public records from PHA? The Peoria Housing Authority (PHA) is committed to transparency and complies with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

How to Request Public Records

You can request public records using our online FOIA request form. To get started, visit the FOIA request page and complete the form.

When submitting your FOIA request, please include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • A clear description of the records you are seeking
  • Your preferred format for receiving documents (electronic or paper)

What to Expect

  • PHA will acknowledge your request within 5 business days
  • Most requests are fulfilled within 5 business days
  • Complex requests may take longer, and we will notify you of any delays
  • Some records may be exempt from disclosure under FOIA
